Hey there Guys & Girls, welcome to episode 30 of ‘A Guy, a Girl, and a Bottle’ wine podcast. This is a special episode for us in a number of ways, but first and foremost, we get to go to Austrailia! Woo-hoo! (well, at least for about 35 minutes or so) See in this wine podcast we visit Chris Loxton, Owner & Winemaker at Loxton Winery (www.loxtonwinery.com) in Sonoma, and being Austrailian and all, well, visiting his winery is a little bit like going down under, without the really, really, really long plane flight. More on Chris and his winery in just a moment. The other really cool thing about today’s episode is that we are the first Podcast (aside from Adam Curry of course) to deploy the ‘Golden Ticket’ as part of this Podcast. What is this Golden Ticket? Well, the Golden Ticket allows us to run contests and giveaway prizes to a predetermined number of people, in a random fashion. For example, in today’s episode 3 lucky people will hear a special audio clip alerting them that they have won. See? Simple as that. Pretty neat-o, doncha think? We do. Why? A recommended diversion if you are heading out to Napa, and well worth the trip.
