[...] For all those that loved the ZAP festival last month, the Santa Cruz Mountain Winery Association is having their 2nd annual “Pinot in Paradise”. The dates are Saturday and Sunday, March 25 & 26, 2006. Many different wineries will be represented, inlcuding some that we have visited recently including Bonny Doon, Pelican Ranch, Thomas Fogarty, and Burrell School just to name a few. (if you have checked out these episodes yet, what are you waiting for?!) [...]

John -

Thanks for your feedback, and we couldn't agree with you more. In fact for this particular episode, (#14) we actually gave Zak a lapel microphone, but the equipment failed. What you are hearing is the low level that was picked up by our microphone. We had the choice of either trashing the whole episode, or putting it out there as-is. We are looking at different ways of handling this, including private tastings (that will hopefully allow us to control the atmosphere a little better). We are also looking at other ways to record onsite without negatively affecting the quality.

Thanks again for your feedback and supporting 'A Guy, a Girl, and a Bottle'!

I really like you Podcast format but am very frustrated with the voice quality of your guests. The guy’s and girls audio quality is good but the representatives of the vineyards are very hard to hear. You are asking great questions and there is a ton of information that is getting lost because of poor audio quality.

Once again, I enjoy the show.

Thanks for the Podcasts they give those of us that don’t live in So. Cal a chance to experience the great wines of the area!
